The Cadillac Escalade Is a Roomy and Luxurious SUV
If you're looking for a roomy and luxurious SUV that can accommodate seven people, the Cadillac Escalade is the car for you. In addition to its spacious cabin and a range of luxury features, this vehicle offers a host of advanced technology, including wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There's also a surround-view camera system and a semi-autonomous driving mode.
The fifth generation Escalade shares its platform with the Chevrolet Suburban and Tahoe. It also features an all-new, high-tech interior. In addition to a curved dashboard, the new Escalade has a 38-inch OLED screen for an interactive infotainment experience. A rear entertainment system with Blu-ray movies is available. You can also choose from eight interior trim levels. Some of the more premium options include power front seats and an audio system with a 36-speaker AKG surround-sound system.
Several trims of the Escalade are equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. They also come standard with a head-up display, a wireless device charging system, and a Wi-Fi hot spot. Among the safety features, the Escalade has a rear view camera, blind-spot monitoring, a rear cross-traffic alert, a rear-parking assist, and automatic emergency braking.
Another feature you'll find in the Escalade is a dual-screen rear entertainment system. The first screen is a standard 9.0-inch unit that plays Blu-ray movies. As with most vehicles, you can opt for a second screen, which is larger and provides additional viewing angles. However, you'll need to spend an extra $3000 for a four-wheel-drive version of the Escalade.
Other features include an active lane control system, front and rear parking sensors, and pedestrian detection. When the system detects a person in the vehicle, it will alert the driver. Additionally, the Escalade has a semi-autonomous drive mode, which lets the driver control the car using steering controls and the brake pedal. This option is especially useful when merging into traffic, as it keeps the Escalade in the middle of the lane.

With a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine that puts out 420 horsepower, the Escalade-V is a powerful machine. While it has an unusually wide body, its chassis is very well balanced, giving it a firm ride. Unlike the previous model, the Escalade's suspension can be adjusted with the push of a button.
Another unique feature is the Escalade's head-up display. This curved screen, positioned in the windshield, functions as a gauge cluster. In addition, the rear entertainment system comes with a DVD player.
Cadillac Escalade prices start at $81,090. Those who want a more luxurious ride can upgrade to a Platinum edition. This special edition of the Escalade comes with a moon roof, a chrome grill, heated and cooled front seats, and a heated steering wheel. Meanwhile, those who prefer an even more sporty interior can choose the Escalade ESV.
Finally, there's the Escalade EXT, which combines the style and performance of an SUV with the flexibility of a pickup truck. In addition to its styling and power, the Escalade EXT also has a mid-gate that opens to the rear. This allows passengers and cargo to be accessed from the third row without having to exit the car.
